Toki Toriをプレイしていて、気づいたことをまとめました。
このゲームにはレベルエディタが付属しており、自分や他人の作ったレベルを遊ぶことができますが、レベルのファイルのパスに2バイト文字を含んでいるとゲームの起動に失敗します。
例：Windows XPで、私（したびらめ）のデスクトップにあるtest.tokilevelを開こうとすると、TokiToriは"C:\Documents and Settings\したびらめ\デスクトップ\test.tokilevel"にアクセスしようとしますが、途中に"したびらめ"と"デスクトップ"という2バイト文字が含まれているため、TokiToriの起動は失敗します。
レベルのファイルは、C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\toki tori\mapsの中にFanMadeLevelというフォルダを作成して、その中に置くと良いでしょう。
レベル選択でBONUSタブの中にあるレベルは、Toki Toriの公式コミュニティに参加しないと遊ぶことができません。
しかし、レベルを選択してJOINボタンを押すと、Steamオーバーレイが起動し「エラー 申し訳ございません リクエストの処理中にエラーが発生しました。セッションキーが見つからない、もしくは無効です。」と表示され、コミュニティへの参加が失敗する事があります。
このような時は、Steamオーバーレイのアドレス部分"http://steamcommunity.com/games/tokitori?action=join"をクリックし、アドレスの末尾"?action=join"を削除してEnterキーを押してください。
"公式グループ Toki Tori"のページが開くので、右上の赤いJoinボタンを押しましょう。これでToki Toriの公式コミュニティに参加したことになり、BONUSタブのレベルを遊ぶことができるようになります。
Steam上のToki Toriは日本語で遊ぶことができませんが、ローカライズファイルの中にはスマートフォン版Toki Toriの日本語テキストが入っていたので抽出してみました。
